- Power Requirements: To ensure functionality, the adapter must be powered through the USB-C port labeled “DC 5V.” Use the included USB power cable for this. Make sure to connect a video/audio-capable cable that supports USB 3.1 or newer standards, as well as Thunderbolt 3/4, to the adapter’s USB-C port (labeled ‘USB-C Out’) to transmit audiovisual content.
